Welcome to CNM ePortfolio. This website is used to develop and submit college credit petition requests to CNM for possible credit award. Upon creating your profile and developing a petition portfolio, this website will distribute that information to the college. By using this service, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.

Your Account / Registration

Use of the services provided through this website requires a unique account created by you. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account and password used to access the CNM ePortfolio website. It is possible that your account may be terminated and that collected profile and credit petition information may be destroyed.

Fees and Payment

The cost for each credit petition is $25.00. This fee will be collected prior to the creation of each ePortfolio through the online CNM CPL Store. This fee covers costs associated with petition review and does not guarantee that any credits will be awarded. No physical product is delivered as part of this fee. This fee is nonrefundable.

No payment card information is stored on the CNM CPL Store payment website. Payment card information is used during the payment process and then not retained on the CNM CPL Store system.

Use of Email

You are responsible for the confidentiality of the email account provided in the user profile for the CNM ePortfolio website. By using this service, you agree to permit information relative to the petition process to be communicated to you through the email account provided by CNM. Information about the status of your petition, reasons for credit acceptance or denial, or other communications pertinent to the petition process will be sent to this email account.

Information Collection, Use and Sharing

Through your voluntary creation of a user profile and the credit petition request process, this website collects information about you. This information can include, but is not limited to, your personal address, email address, work history, educational history, etc.

You may update your profile information as necessary. Throughout the petition process, information within a petition may be locked and restricted for edit. Information collected through this website may be stored indefinitely or destroyed at any time.

All information provided through this website will be made available to appropriate credit petition representatives at CNM. Your information will not be sold. Unless required to do so by law, in connection with any ongoing legal proceedings, or to defend our legal rights, your information will not be distributed to anyone other than those necessary to fulfill your request.

To the extent required by Law, the CNM ePortfolio shall comply  with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Security

All use of this website that includes the transmission of your personal data is encrypted through the HTTPS standards. Information stored on CNM ePortfolio systems is only made available to technical employees on a need-to-know basis in order to perform system maintenance duties. The computers on which CNM ePortfolio systems are operated are stored and maintained in a secure environment.

The CNM ePortfolio website utilizes web browser cookies to improve your use of this service. Cookies are commonly used to help improve the experience for repeating visitors to a website.
